Protection against Corona virus (COVID-19)
At the Fiji Public Trustee, we are taking the utmost care to protect our people, customers and the wider Fijian community, following the latest update by the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Health’s advice on the COVID-19 situation in Fiji.
We are committed to serving our customers, and I want to reassure you that we are operating as normal and can assist you with your estate planning i.e. Will services and administration needs.
We have put in place protocols for our people to follow, when interacting with customers. These protocols are designed to keep both you and our people safe.
Yes!! We’re practicing social distancing, which means our people will stay at least 1 metre away in their interactions with you. They will also be following hygiene practices as outlined by the www.health.gov.fj.
Our customer centers in Suva and Labasa remain open, however our Lautoka office now is only accessible via email, telephone and teleconferencing.
Please note that if:
- you are feeling unwell in any way, such as exhibiting any cold or flu symptoms;
- you have been overseas in the last 2 weeks (Note: The Government requests 2 weeks of self-isolation upon returning to Fiji);
- you have been in contact with anyone who has returned from overseas in the last 2 weeks or is currently in self-isolation.
If any of these circumstances apply to you, please reschedule your appointments with us.
Again, I want to reassure you that we’re doing all we can to protect our customers and the people of Fiji from a wider outbreak and are closely monitoring and responding to information from the Ministry of Health.
