The Fiji Public Trustee Corporation Limited (FPTCL) is a state owned entity that provides Trustee Services to the people of Fiji.
The FPTCL as trustee paid out $42,263.11 to the Dilkusha Girls Home and St. Christopher’s Home in fulfilling the wishes of the settlor of a Trust for Sabrina Evelyn Alport Wishart.
The Dilkusha Girls Home received $21,131.55 and Saint Christopher’s Home received $21,131.56 from the Trust.
The Corporation provides such trustee services to the people of Fiji as an independent trustee.
A Trust is set up to hold and protect assets for specific purposes and allows a client to support beneficiaries or for special causes and charities throughout the life of the Trust.
The role of the trustee includes the administration of the trust funds such as making periodical payments to loved ones, investment of funds, providing statement of accounts, fulfilling tax requirement’s, RPF approvals and others in accordance with the Trust Deed etc.
