Fiji Public Trustee Corporation Pte Ltd CEO Antonio Takala, Fiji Red Cross Society director general Ilisapeci Rokotunidau and board chairwoman Lorraine Seeto at the presentation at the FNPF Boulevard this morning.
The Fiji Public Trustee Corporation Pte Ltd today presented a cheque of $10,000 to the Fiji Red Cross Society as part of the TC Ana relief program.
FRCS director-general Ilisapeci Rokotunidau said the money would be used to purchase water tanks and water filtration units for schools in the Northern Division.
She said they had distributed water tanks, water flasks and water filtration units to primary schools in the Northern Division and had now embarked on carrying out an assessment of secondary schools to see how they could assist.
FPTCL chief executive officer Atonio Takala said they looked after trust funds and some of them had given their instruction on what to do with their funds and which organisations to help as part of their charity work.
